Hello! I’m Hellen James, a landscape architect, and writer. I’ve been writing about landscaping for years, but I’ve recently decided to focus my writing on my personal experiences as a landscape architect.
My background in landscaping is what led me to start this blog. I grew up in a family of gardeners and went on to study landscape architecture at the University of Colorado.
After graduating, I spent several years working as a landscape architect before starting my own business. My interest in working with plants has continued throughout this time, but it’s only recently that I’ve found myself drawn back to writing about them.
I started this blog because I wanted a space where people could share their ideas about what makes a beautiful garden or yard.
It’s important for me that everyone has access to accurate information about landscaping so they can make decisions that are right for them and being able to connect with others who share similar interests is great too!
